GBP suspended: checklist recovery yang sudah bekerja 3x

Dua tipe suspension

Soft suspend — listing masih visible tapi tidak appear di Map Pack atau filter search. Owner dashboard nampak normal. Indicator: GBP impression turun drastis (>80%) tanpa perubahan apapun di listing.

Hard suspend — listing fully hidden dari Maps + Search. Owner dashboard show banner “This account is suspended.” Tidak bisa edit listing.

Recovery flow beda. Soft suspend biasanya self-recover dalam 7-14 hari setelah audit. Hard suspend butuh appeal proses formal.

Penyebab paling umum (yang saya temui 2023-2026)

1. Verifikasi video call gagal atau missed (paling sering — 40% case)
2. Multiple listing untuk 1 alamat (food court, ruko shared — sering)
3. Business name keyword stuffing (“Jasa SEO Tangerang Terbaik Murah 24 Jam”)
4. Alamat virtual office / co-working tanpa staffing (regulators tightening)
5. Kategori service-area business di-set salah (mis. plumber listed sebagai brick-and-mortar)
6. Recent NAP change yang trigger re-verification
7. Review manipulation pattern detected (sudden surge unverified reviews)
8. Reported by competitor (Google takes reports seriously untuk verified competitors)

Checklist audit pre-appeal

Sebelum appeal, audit listing Anda secara objektif. Saya pakai template ini untuk 3 klien — ketiganya recover.

Step 1: Cek alasan suspend di dashboard

GBP dashboard biasanya kasih hint:

• “Information you provided doesn’t match what Google’s verified”
• “We can’t verify your business location”
• “Your business may have violated our guidelines”

Step 2: NAP audit

• Nama bisnis persis sama dengan:
  • Akta perusahaan (Anda perlu attach saat appeal)
  • Plang storefront
  • Nomor NPWP
  • Website (footer + about page)
  • Citation utama (Yelp Indonesia, Foursquare, Yellow Pages, Industri direktori spesifik)

Kalau ada inkonsistensi (mis. nama akta “PT Sari Sehat Mandiri” tapi GBP “Klinik Sari Sehat”), itu sering trigger suspend. Fix dulu sebelum appeal.

• Alamat: format harus konsisten. “Jl. Boulevard BSD No. 12, RT.5/RW.3, Lengkong Gudang, Serpong, Tangerang Selatan 15310” — semua field harus match document official.
• Telepon: 1 nomor utama, sesuai dokumen perusahaan, mobile boleh tapi konsisten.

Step 3: Foto storefront recent

Siapkan foto:

• Plang/signage depan dengan nama bisnis terbaca
• Pintu masuk dengan jam operasional
• Interior aktif (ada staff, ada customer)
• Receipt/invoice dengan nama bisnis printed (untuk service-area business)

Foto harus EXIF intact (smartphone direct, tidak edit) dan dated < 30 hari.

Step 4: Dokumen legal

• Akta perusahaan / SIUP / NIB
• NPWP perusahaan
• Surat domisili dari kelurahan / RT
• Kontrak sewa atau bukti kepemilikan tempat usaha
• Untuk klinik: SIP dokter + izin operasional klinik dari Dinkes
• Untuk apotek: SIPA apoteker + izin Dinkes
• Untuk F&B: PIRT / sertifikat halal kalau ada

Scan PDF, sediakan dalam format yang siap di-upload.

Step 5: Cek violations spesifik

Audit listing checklist:

• Business name = nama legal exact (no keyword, no city, no descriptor seperti “Best” “24 Hour”)
• Hanya 1 listing untuk 1 alamat fisik
• Service area business punya serviceArea set + alamat hidden, tidak ditampilkan publicly
• Tidak ada review yang violate (incentivized review, fake review pattern)
• Kategori utama match actual primary business
• Photos tidak include logo competitor / branded content yang bukan punya Anda

Timeline realistis

• Hari 1-3: Initial response from Google support (otomatis email confirmation)
• Hari 5-10: Manual review starts (sometimes Google ask additional documents)
• Hari 10-21: Video verification call scheduled (kalau perlu)
• Hari 14-28: Reinstatement decision

Saya pernah recovery dalam 9 hari (clean case, dokumen lengkap) sampai 6 minggu (complex case multi-location).

Tiga case recovery saya

Case 1: Klinik gigi BSD (recovery 14 hari)

Suspend cause: business name “Klinik Gigi Drg. [Nama] BSD — Dokter Gigi Terbaik” — keyword stuffing.

Fix:

• Rename ke “Klinik Drg. [Nama]” (nama legal di akta)
• Appeal dengan attachment akta + SIP dokter
• Video verification call sukses dalam 12 hari

Case 2: Bengkel Ciledug (recovery 21 hari)

Suspend cause: 2 listing untuk 1 alamat (owner lama tidak hapus listing sebelum buat baru).

Fix:

• Claim akses listing lama via support
• Mark sebagai duplicate + request merge
• Resubmit primary listing dengan appeal + photo storefront recent

Case 3: Apotek 24-jam (recovery 42 hari — paling lama)

Suspend cause: alamat shared dengan klinik di lantai atas, Google detect “stacked listing”.

Fix:

• Provide separate floor verification (apotek lantai dasar, klinik lantai 2)
• Attach kontrak sewa terpisah
• Attach SIPA apoteker (legal proof separate operation)
• Multiple video verification call (Google butuh konfirmasi visual)

Yang bikin appeal gagal

• Appeal dalam bahasa Indonesia (response lebih lambat — bukan rejection guarantee tapi friction)
• Tidak attach dokumen legal di first submission (paksa Google ask follow-up = extra cycle 5-7 hari)
• Lying tentang business model (mis. claim brick-and-mortar padahal service-area only)
• Multiple appeals untuk same suspension dalam 1 minggu (Google flag sebagai spam)
• Edit listing aktif saat masih suspended (jangan touch listing sampai appeal resolved)

Saat tidak bisa recover

Beberapa case suspend memang permanent:

• Repeated violation history (3+ suspension dalam 12 bulan)
• Documented fake review purchase
• Business identity fraud

Kalau ini, opsi: create new listing dengan alamat berbeda + ownership berbeda. Tapi Google detect via business owner identity (KTP + telepon), jadi need genuine new entity, bukan workaround.
